Following a deadly fire at a hotel-cum-B&B in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, that killed 21 people, owner Lovkesh Bajaj has been arrested. During police interrogation, Bajaj revealed that illegal expansions and structural changes were made on a different person's suggestion, who assured him "everything works in Delhi". The building had only one entry/exit point, sealed windows, and operated without a fire NOC. The Delhi government has since decided to revoke its Bed and Breakfast (B&B) policy and will review all establishments operating under it. 12 foreign nationals were among the deceased.
